URBAN FLOODING!!

blanket of leaves on the ground + crazy intense rain storm on the way = wet wet wet DIRTY standing water!
time will tell! thank goodness i work for great people and can ask "hey can i ride home before the storm comes??"

global warming

It has been consistently around 60 degrees these past couple days. The leaves are past turning colors and almost completely finished blanketing the sidewalks and streets. Fall is the season in the city, when you once again remember you have neighbors that can see into you apartment.

Saw Todd St. John tonight speak at the Tischman auditorium. I love that place, its like a portal into the 60s with great acoustics. It was interesting to hear him go through his work, and i like the fact that him and his partner had some fun with the video conferencing. View his work here

Coming home it wasn't raining, but i was definitely in a cloud. Mist coated my face and i felt the the precipitation on my eyelashes.
